Helen Eisen Designs is an independent slow fashion brand based in Berlin. The main focus lies in the combination of artistic design, sustainability, and innovative materials and craftsmanship. Each piece is thoughtfully designed and handcrafted by Helen Eisen in her Berlin atelier, using primarily deadstock fabrics and upcycled materials. Local production minimizes transport emissions and ensures fair, ethical working conditions. The collections are offered in limited editions and unique one-of-a-kind pieces. By avoiding overproduction and waste, Helen Eisen Designs actively promotes a more responsible approach to fashion.

About the designer.

Helen Eisen (born in 1998) is a Berlin-based fashion designer and artist who founded her own label, Helen Eisen Designs, at the end of 2024. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from the Academy for Fashion & Design and a Master’s degree from Kunsthochschule Weißensee, Berlin. During her studies, Eisen worked for various fashion houses, including as a design assistant at Viktor&Rolf and in the couture ateliers of Dawid Tomaszewski and Marina Hoermanseder. Both her Bachelor’s and Master’s collections were showcased at Berlin Fashion Week in 2022 and 2024 to a wide audience. Her work has been featured in numerous magazines, including 1Granary (2024), Sicky Magazine (2024), Schön! Magazine (2023), and TextilWirtschaft (2023). Additionally, Helen has been honored with prestigious awards, including the Mart Stam Prize (2024), Wilhelm Lorch Foundation Scholarship Award (2023), and the AMD Stage Award & Best Graduate (2022).
